xANADU is ExWHYZ's second studio album. It was announced on April 1st, 2023, with it being released digitally the same day. It then recieved a general release on CD, DVD and Blu-Ray, on April 19th.
Included with the DVD and Blu-Ray is concert footage of midoriko's comeback show, the xYZ tour final. Also included with the Blu-ray is a 52-page photobook, one of six random message photo cards a sticker and a lyric mini-poster.
Leading up to the announcement of the album, the tracks ANSWER, Des Speeching and FIRST STEP were released as digital singles. FIRST STEP was released just a day before the full album was released digitally, and two versions of the album were recorded, one including the regular line-up, and a limited-edition "xYD" version with the vocals of Ayuni D, who had briefly joined as an April Fools joke.

As an April Fool's joke, it was announced on April 1st that Ayuni D was to join ExWHYZ under the name "ayuni" when BiSH disbanded in June. In keeping with the joke, she featured on the digital single and music video for FIRST STEP, and performed at their April 1st xANADU tour opening. She left the group the same day due to "communicating with positive people causing her heavy mental strain".
On the day of the event, CD were distributed to all participants. When the digital pre-release of xANADU was published the following evening, a limited-time "xYD" edition of the album was also made available to stream, or purchase for 300yen. This version had the same tracklist as the regular edition of xANADU, but with ayuni's vocals included on all tracks. This version of the album was only available until April 18th, 2023.
