WHO KiLLED IDOL? is BiS' second major album, and the final studio album by their first generation (they would release one best-of album before eventually disbanding four months later).

The album was released in three versions: two CD+DVDs and one CD only. All three versions came in both limited and regular editions. The album reached #14 on the Oricon charts and charted for three weeks.

Trivia[]

  • It is the only studio album to feature the members First Summer Uika, Tentenko, Kamiya Saki and Coshoji Megumi. However, they also appear on both best-of albums and the BiS Kaidan albums.
  • The song "Magumato" is named in reference to the band MGMT, whose music inspired its general sound.
  • An alternate version of the music video for "primal.2" was used to promote the album on television; it is largely similar to the versions available on YouTube and on DVDs, but includes alternate cuts of the members' bedroom scenes. This version has never been released in other forms.
  • "primal.2" has never been performed live and has no choreography.
  • HISASHI, the lead guitarist of GLAY, played the guitar solo on "primal.2". HISASHI became a fan of BiS upon hearing the original "primal." at the time of its release.
