WACK Audition Camp 2018 profile
Utauuta (ウタウウタ), also known as Mashiro Uta (真白うた), is a Japanese idol who was involved with WACK from 2018 to 2021 as a member of WAgg and PARADISES.
She started her involvement with WACK as a trainee under WAgg, having joined the unit as a founding member in August 2018. She was ultimately promoted to PARADISES in 2020, but left the following year. She then joined the group COMIQ ON！ in 2022 and left in 2023.

2018[]
From March 12th, Utauuta took part in the WACK Audition Camp 2018 under the name "Yui Ga Jackson". However, she was eliminated on the first day without being offered a redemption challenge. Soon after, she auditioned for WAgg.
On August 14th, Utauuta was revealed as one of the first eight trainees to join WAgg.
2019[]
From March 24th, Utauuta participated in the WACK AUDiTiON CAMP 2019. On day two, she was eliminated for a second time after losing a game of Daifugo.
2020[]
From March 22nd, Utauuta took part in the WACK AUDiTiON CAMP for the third year in a row. She was eliminated on day three after failing to do the most squats.
On June 12th, Utauuta's first digital release, WAgg no Subarashiki Sekai, was published.
From October 10th, Utauuta participated in the PARADISES no Subarashiki Mirai audition. As part of the audition, she featured on their digital single, PLEASE LISTEN TO MY, in an individual solo version released on November 14th.
Utauuta was eliminated from the PARADISES audition on December 13th, after failing to earn all four required stars needed to progress to the final stage. However, she was offered a second chance, as the following day the single, WAgg to PARADISES no Subarashiki Sekai to Mirai, was released in individual member versions with a promise that any eliminated WAgg could return to the audition if their version sold the most copies. Utauuta's solo version of the single ultimately sold the most copies, and was therefore allowed to return to the audition in time for the audition's final results ceremony on December 26th.
During the results ceremony, it was announced that, despite having been previously eliminated, Utauuta had ultimately won the audition and would be promoted to PARADISES.
2021[]
Utauuta graduated from WAgg on January 3rd. Her first performance with PARADISES took place on January 30th, with her debut album with the group, PARADISES (REFRESH ver.), being released the same day.
On February 28th, Utauuta's first (official) EP with PARADISES, PARADISES RETURN, was released.
In mid-June, Utauuta, along with every other active WACK member at the time, joined the shuffle unit, Dogenzaka43. Her only single as part of the group, Kyouniku Jakushoku ~Tsuyoi Yatsura wo Kucchimae~, was released on June 16th.
On July 9th, Utauuta suddenly left PARADISES, due to differences in direction. In a statement posted to PARADISES' website, Utauuta stated that if she stayed in PARADISES any longer, she would cause trouble to the other members. In addition, she had been losing self-confidence and struggled to balance her mental health with her physical health. Despite leaving PARADISES, Utauuta had seemingly planned to remain in WACK, and had said that she was in discussions with Watanabe Junnosuke about her future. However, one month later, it was announced that Utauuta would leave WACK entirely.
Prior to deleting her Twitter account, she followed her new account and the owner of the maid cafe called "Cafe & Bar Neon" in Shinjuku before being revealed as a new employee on August 25th, under the name, "Ruru".
2022[]
On August 16th, Utauuta changed her stage name to "Mashiro Uta" and joined the idol unit, COMIQ ON！
Uta's debut release with COMIQ ON!, COMIQ ON! Dai 0-kan!, was released on September 28th.
2023[]
On June 9th, Uta suddenly left COMIQ ON!

- Is a big Togawa Jun fan and sang "Suki Suki Daisuki" (previously covered by BiS Kaidan) at her first WACK audition.
- She hates being reminded of her time in the 2018 WACK audition, saying that she has changed a lot since then.
- Struggles to express her emotions, causing staff members to describe her as "cold".
- Her audition name was a parody of Yui Ga Dockson.
- In an interview for PARADISES no Subarashiki Mirai, Utauuta revealed that she had planned to drop out of the audition and leave WAgg, but changed her mind the day before the interview after receiving a text message from Yumeno Yua.
