Terashima Yuka (テラシマユウカ), formerly Sono Shion (ソンシオン) is a member of GANG PARADE and formerly, PARADISES.
Her career started in 2016 as a member of SiS. After SiS's sudden disbandment, she joined GANG PARADE, then joined PARADISES after GANG PARADE split into two groups in 2020. She then briefly joined GO TO THE BEDS in 2021 as part of an all-member trade, before the two units were eventually merged back into GANG PARADE in 2022.
In addition to these units, Terashima Yuka is also a member of SPY, after ranking third in the VOTE! WACK SELECT 7 election.
Biography[]
2016[]
From August 31st to September 4th, 2016, Terashima Yuka participated in the BiS Reformation Audition, under the temporary name "Terayama Yufu".
On September 4th, Yuka joined SiS after failing to pass the BiS audition camp.
SiS' debut live took place on September 26th, where Yuka performed with the stage name "Sono Shion".
Just one day after SiS' debut performance, the group was disbanded on September 26th.
On November 6th, Sono joined GANG PARADE with SiS groupmates Chin Mirei and Coco Chanel, and her stage name was changed to Terashima Yuka.
Terashim Yuka's debut single with GANG PARADE, Plastic 2 Mercy, was released on December 27th, 2016.
2017[]
From March 18th to April 2nd, Terashima Yuka participated in the WACK AUDiTiON CAMP 2017 as a mentor alongside Yumeno Yua, representing GANG PARADE.
Yuka's debut album with GANG PARADE, GANG PARADE takes themselves higher!!, was released on November 21st, 2017.
In December, Terashima Yuka ranked 14th in the WACK General Election.
2018[]
On October 16th, 2018, Terashima Yuka modelled for NEGLECT ADULT PATiENTS at Amazon Fashion Week.
In November 2018, Yuka began posting a weekly series of film review column for the website "Storywriter", titled "Soredemo eiga wa, subarashii." It later changed its name to “Kyou wa sabotte eiga wo mi ni iku” and adjusted its format to be more specific to the film.
2020[]
When GANG PARADE was split into two groups on March 28th, 2020, Terashima Yuka was placed in PARADISES. The following day, her first digital single as part of the unit, GOOD NIGHT, was released.
On April 1st, Yuka's first EP as a member of PARADISES, G/P, was released.
2021[]
From March 21st until March 27th, Terashima Yuka participated in the WACK AUDiTiON CAMP 2021 as a mentor. This was the second time that she mentored in an audition.
In mid-June, Yuka, along with every other active WACK member at the time, joined the shuffle unit, Dogenzaka43. Her only single as part of the group, Kyouniku Jakushoku ~Tsuyoi Yatsura wo Kucchimae~, was released on June 16th.
During WACK presents DREAMLIGHTS in TIF on October 2nd, Watanabe Junnosuke announced that all members of PARADISES and GO TO THE BEDS would switch members. As such, Terashima, along with all her groupmates, immediately went on hiatus from PARADISES and joined GO TO THE BEDS instead. As part of GO TO THE BEDS, Terashima featured on the joint EP, G⇔P.
It was revealed on December 27th that Terashima Yuka had ranked in third place in the VOTE! WACK SELECT 7 general election, securing her a place in a new group that would be produced by Kashiwagi Yuki.
2022[]
On January 1st, GANG PARADE announced their reformation, and Terashima Yuka rejoined. As GO TO THE BEDS and PARADISES were now merged back into one singular unit, knowledge on her future with either unit was uncertain, though it appears that both groups are now inactive.
Yuka's first single after rejoining GANG PARADE, PARADE GOES ON, was released on March 9th.
On May 10th, GANG PARADE announced that Terashima had contracted coronavirus, and as such, she was required to take a break from activities until the 19th.
Terashima's debut single with SPY, Anata wo Nerai Uchi♡, was released on June 1st.
