Biography[edit | edit source]

2011[edit | edit source]

Terashima Yufu started her entertainment career in early 2011. Her first recording was on the track "Tsudere Syndrome", from the compilation album "Ultimate!! Girls Revolution1", released on April 4th.

On July 9th 2011, a day after her 20th birthday, Terashima Yufu was announced as a member of BiS, replacing Yokoyama Rina who had withdrawn a couple of months prior. As BiS was still promoting My Ixxx at the time, Terashima was added into much of the promotional material, despite not actually contributing on the single.

On October 19th, Terashima Yufu's first single as part of BiS, nerve, was released.

2012[edit | edit source]

Terashima Yufu's first studio album as part of BiS, IDOL is DEAD, was released on October 10th. The same day, the anime Backstage idol story began airing, in which Yufu voiced herself.

2013[edit | edit source]

Terashima Yufu's final single with BiS, BiSimulation, was released on March 13th.

On April 12th, Terashima Yufu announced her graduation from BiS. The official reason given was that she was "too serious" to be in BiS, but, like Nakayama Yukiko, it was believed that the actual reason was due to frequent arguments with Pour Lui over the group's increasingly extreme behaviour. Her final performance took place on May 26th.

After her departure from BiS, Terashima Yufu took part in Miss iD 2014, where she ranked 4th and won the Amaterasu Special Award. Through Miss iD, she was able to find support to begin her solo career on the major label Universal Music.
