Symdolick, formerly known as Cawaful TORNADO (きゃわふるTORNADO), are a Japanese idol group formed in 2017.

As of October 2022, WACK AUDiTiON CAMP 2021 finalist, Rikochi F, is a member of the unit under the name "Amane Riko".

Biography[]

Early career, 2017-2021[]

Cawaful TORNADO were first formed in February 2017, with it's starting line-up consisting of Kanzaki Kurumi, Dochi Ayako, Anzai Yuka, Ishikawa Nonoka, Miyase Shiori and Bessho Karen. They released their first single, Hoshizora Destination, on June 24th, and their debut album, Cawafurhythm 1, on October 23rd.

Following major line-up changes, Cawaful TORNADO ultimately rebranded as Symdolick on May 27th, 2021. They released two rerecording albums, ignition and intersection, in June 2021 and August 2022 respectively.

2022-[]

In late September 2022, Symdolick began posting videos of WACK AUDiTiON CAMP 2021 finalist, Rikochi F, now known as Amane Riko, performing covers of yama's "Haru wo Ageru", Ryokuoushoku Shakai's "Shout Baby" and BiSH's "Orchestra", without explicitly stating her membership. The mystery surrounding her sudden presence garnered a small amount of media attention from sites such as Natalie and Yahoo.

On October 10th, Symdolick officially confirmed that Riko would become a member of the group.

Symdolick's first digital single with Riko as a member, Symdolicxxxxx, was released on January 8th, 2023. On April 12th, they released the EP, GATE. On June 20th, they released another digital single, Caligula.

Symdolick released the digital single, Asayake Mirage, on July 30th. Another digital single, Aimai Nettaiya, was released on October 7th.
