Kusunoki Roa (クスノキロア) is a Japanese YouTuber, businesswoman, and idol. She was a member of HO6LA from 2021 to 2022. She is currently a member of idol group THE ORCHESTRA TOKYO.
Biography[]
Early Career[]
In 2015, Kusunoki Roa launched and became the CEO of ARONDOLL Inc, a PR company for high school girls who aspire to become influencers. Roa herself, was still attending school at the time. In December the same year, she became the general manager of a similar company, PIANO Inc.
On January 24th, 2016, Roa joined an idol group formed under PIANO Inc., Hanjitsu Jikkou Iinkai. However, the group disbanded seven months later, on July 25th, due to problems occurring within the company.
Roa joined another idol group, Aiiro Asterism, on June 3rd, 2018. While part of the group, she performed under the stage name, Sato Mei. She graduated on May 28th, 2019, and halted her idol activities afterward.
2020[]
On January 5th, Kusunoki Roa appeared as a model at a FASHION LEADERS event.
In February, Roa provided vocals for sleepyhead's "Boku no Janai", from the album, Boku no Janai wa Kimi no Mono.
In December, Roa starred in the stage play, "Kimi wa Uso to Shiranai". That same month, she made a YouTube video announcing that she had been hired by a public company.
2021[]
Kusunoki Roa returned to idol activities in April, auditioning for a group produced by Ichigo Rinahamu. She successfully passed the training camp stage, and was revealed as a starting member of the group, HO6LA, on August 18th. Her debut single with HO6LA, Pirikarira, was released on October 26th.
2022[]
Kusunoki Roa's first album with HO6LA, Sono Ichi, was released on June 15th.
After just over a year of activities, HO6LA ultimately disbanded on September 12th. Her final album with the unit, HO6LA, was released the following night.
2023[]
On January 26th, she joined idol group THE ORCHESTRA TOKYO, officially starting activities on February 27th.
Personal Life[]
Dropped out of high school in her first year and relocated from Gunma to Tokyo. She later resumed her studies at a correspondence school.
