Emiru (笑瑠) , currently known as Kawamoto Emiru (川本笑瑠), and previously known as Kamimura Emiru (上村笑瑠) and Kanemoto Emiru (金本笑瑠), is a Japanese idol. She is currently a member of CUTIE STREET. She was formerly a member of HO6LA from 2021 to 2022, and prior to this, a member of Tokyo CuteCute and amorecarina.

Biography[]
Early career, 2015-2019[]
Emiru's idol career started on July 11th, 2015, when she joined the group, amorecarina Tokyo. Joining under the name, Kanemoto Emiru, she was added to amorecarina's "amorecarina CUTE" subunit. On August 4th of the same year, she was also selected to join Tokyo CuteCute.
In April 2016, Emiru was selected from amorecarina to focus her activities on Tokyo CuteCute.
Emiru's debut single with "Tokyo CuteCute, Nanairo Phrase / You&Me", was released on July 1st, 2016.
In January 2018, Emiru changed her stage name to Kamimura Emiru.
Emiru graduated from Tokyo CuteCute on April 30th, 2019.
2021[]
In April 2021, Emiru auditioned for an upcoming idol group to be produced by Ichigo Rinahamu. She successfully passed the training camp stage, and as a result, was introduced as a starting member of HO6LA on August 18th. Her debut single with HO6LA, Pirikarira, was released on October 26th.
2022[]
Emiru's first album as part of HO6LA, Sono Ichi, was released on June 15th.
After just over a year of activities, HO6LA ultimately disbanded on September 12th. Her final album with the unit, HO6LA, was released the following night.
2023[]
On November 21st, Kawamoto Emiru joined KAWAII LAB. MATES, ASOBISYSTEM's trainee unit.
2024[]
On July 30th, after 8 months under KAWAII LAB. MATES, she was promoted to CUTIE STREET as a founding member.
