SakuranbomBom (さくらんぼんBom) was a local indies idol group based in Yamagata. NOW EMPiRE was the former leader of the group, under the name "Nono".
History
SakuranbomBom was formed in August 2013 to promote the prefecture of Yamagata. They released their first self-titled single in October that same year.
Their second and last single, My♡Hero, was released in February 2014, followed by a mini-album, BomBom World☆, in September the same year.
On April 30th, 2016, SakuranbonBom disbanded. However, they would occasionally reform for one-off performances afterward.
When leader Nono was announced as a member of EMPiRE, the group's official twitter congratulated her. However, they deleted the tweet shortly after.
