SOCiALiSM is the fifth indies single by BiS and the first single released by its Second Generation (although they had released two albums beforehand).
It is also the first release overall to feature Pan Luna Leafy and Momoland, who joined the group in April, and the first BiS release since FiNAL DANCE / nerve to feature Kamiya Saki, who had been traded from GANG PARADE with Aya Eightprince temporarily.
It was released in CD only and CD+DVD editions on May 31st, 2017. The DVD edition of the release includes a directors cut of the Gekijoban BiS Tanjou no Uta movie. Pre-orders from HMV also came with a poster.
