WACKi Wiki

PPCC is the first major released by BiS, and the first single to feature Michibayashi Rio and Wakisaka Yurika. The single was released in three versions: two CD+DVD versions and a CD only version with all three versions coming in both limited and regular editions.

First press limited editions came with one of seven mini-life photos with the limited Live Edition also coming with a special booklet.

All editions came with a bonus depending on the location of purchase: an original life photograph C if purchased at the mu-mo shop, an original life photograph E if purchased at Lawson HMV, one of 15 random photographs if purchased at Toranoana, and a BiS × Tower Records Shinjuku "NO MUSIC, NO IDOL!?" poster if purchased at TOWER.

The first press limited editions also came with a small camera of good luck or one of six different mini-life photographs.

The single reached #31 on the Oricon charts and charted for two weeks.

Trivia[]

  • The title "PPCC" stands for the onomatopoeic phrase "peropero chucchu" (lick lick, suck suck).
  • The demo version of "PPCC" had an English-language chorus of "Anytime good time". According to Matsukuma Kenta, it was Pour Lui who came up with "peropero chucchu" as a direct replacement for this.
  • Before the lyrics were finalised, the B-side track "Hokousha Tengoku no Zattou de Sakende Mitakattanda" was known by the working title "Survivevor" [sic].
