PIGMONZ (ぴぐもんず) is a Japanese girl group, formed in January 2026. They will debut on March 21st, 2026. Former BiS, BILLIE IDLE®︎, and PIGGS member Pour Lui, and former CARRY LOOSE and ASP member Yumeka Nowkana? are members of the group.

Its name stands for PourPourLand's Idols are Good Monsters.

History[]

On July 7th, 2025, Pour Lui announced she would graduate from her former group PIGGS and take an advisor role instead. During her statement, she revealed her plans of creating a new girl group, where she would be a member and producer.

On September 27th, Pour Lui opened up auditions for the new group.

On January 1st, she created the group's YouTube, where she talked about its formation process. On January 9th, it was announced on Pour Lui's personal Twitter PIGMONZ's name and logo.

On the following day, the first episode was released on YouTube; it was the beginning of the audition phase of the YouTube channel, titled "Audition Edition". The next member would be shown on the 2nd episode, scheduled on January 13th. It was then revealed to be former CARRY LOOSE and ASP member, Yumeka Nowkana?, now known as Yumeka.

On January 14th, it was announced PIGMONZ's self-titled first album would be released on March 11th.

On January 18th, the third episode detailing PIGMONZ audition process was released. It was revealed Kamiya Saki would be involved as the group's choreographer. Two former WACK members auditioned to be a part of the group: ex-WAgg member, Bell Nard, under the name San-chan (サンちゃん), and ex-BiS, Kika Front Frontale, under the name Kika-chan (キカちゃん). Boogey from WACK AUDiTiON CAMP 2023 also auditioned, as Mei-chan (メイちゃん).

The fourth and fifth episodes were published on January 22nd and 25th. The candidates were initially separated into 4 teams (Team A, B, C, and D) but later shuffled into 3 color-based teams.

The teams were as follows:

Yellow Team:

  • Yoshi-chan (よしちゃん)
  • San-chan
  • Uta-chan (うたちゃん)
  • Mei-chan
  • Michi-chan (ミチちゃん)

Purple Team:

  • Hi-chan (ひちゃん)
  • Chii-chan (ちーちゃん)
  • Kaji-chan (かじちゃん)
  • Kika-chan
  • Tama-chan (たまちゃん)
  • Nino-chan (にのちゃん)

Green Team:

  • A-chan (あちゃん)
  • Sena-chan (せなちゃん)
  • Hana-chan (ハナちゃん)
  • Lucy-chan (ルーシーちゃん)
  • Ishi-chan (イシちゃん)

In episode 7, 9 candidates remained: Yoshi-chan, Kika-chan, San-chan, A-chan, Lucy-chan, Michi-chan, Sena-chan, Hi-chan, and Ishi-chan; however, the candidates could decide to let a potential dropout stay. They ultimately chose no one, and the auditions continued with the 9 candidates.

On February 7th, it was announced their first digital single, Starting Line, will be released on the 11th. The group will officially debut on March 21st, at GARRET udagawa.

On February 11th, the final lineup was unveiled. San-chan and Sena-chan were chosen to debut with the group, under the names San and Sena, respectively. Two hours later, PIGMONZ's artist photos and San and Sena's socials were officially revealed.
