Natsuyagi Otoha

Natsuyagi Otoha (夏八木音羽), formerly known as Shimizu Otoha (清水音羽), also known as just Otoha (音羽), is a Japanese idol. She was a runner-up in the BiSH THE NEXT televised audition.

Prior to her involvement with BiSH THE NEXT, she was a member of the group, Nishikanazawa Shoujodan, and it's sub-units, the World 2U, Bacicere and Ansofie.

Biography[]

Nishikanazawa Shoujodan, 2018-2022[]

Shimizu Otoha's joined Nishikanazawa Shoujodan in August 2018. Her first single with the unit, Nishipuri Ondo, was released the following month.

On May 26th, 2019, Shimizu joined Nishikanazawa's sub-unit, Ansofie. Her first release with the group was the digital single, Linaria, on August 19th.

Shimizu Otoha's first solo single, TrueWing, was released on April 11th, 2020. Also in 2020, she joined an additional two units, Bacicere and the World 2U. Her only release with Bacicere, Auauau, was released on December 16th.

Ansofie disbanded on January 21st, 2021. Ten days later, her first release with the World 2U, Frontier, was published.

Shimizu Otoha's second solo single, Ninki Ga Nai., was released on March 20th.

On November 6th, Shimizu Otoha announced her graduation from Nishikanazawa Shoujodan. A month later, the World 2U also disbanded.

Shimizu ultimately graduated from Nishikanazawa Shoujodan and Bacicere on February 20th, 2022. Afterwards, she joined Avex Artist Academy as a trainee.

2023-[]

In Spring 2023, Shimizu Otoha competed in the BiSH THE NEXT televised audition in Spring 2023. During the audition, she was referred to as simply, "Otoha". She was eliminated in the third episode, but revived later that same episode. However, she was ultimately eliminated in the sixth episode.

On October 12th, 2023, Otoha joined kankitsu Couverture, as part of their Lemon split unit. Upon joining, her stage name was changed to Natsuyagi Otoha. On December 9th, her first digital single with the group, Watch Me, was released.
