Morphine Tokyo (モルヒネ東京) was a Japanese band fronted by former BiS member Nakayama Yukiko.
History
2012
Morphine Tokyo's formation was announced on June 5th, 2012.
2013
Morphine Tokyo released their first single, Tokyo Night, on March 17th.
On April 20th, Morphine Tokyo released the digital single, Cherry Girl.
Morphine Tokyo's second nationally-distributed single, Loop Suru, was released on December 4th.
2014
On July 13th, Morphine Tokyo released the digital single, Iroha Uta. The song attracted attention from media outlets due to Nakayama Yukiko being nude in the music video.
2015
On April 29th, Morphine Tokyo suddenly went on hiatus in after Nakayama Yukiko was hospitalized.
When Nakayama was healthy enough to perform again, the group decided that it had been too long and mutually agreed to disband on November 11th.
One month later, several of the former members, including Nakayama, went on to form the End.
