Leonaempire (レオナエンパイア), real name Tsuda Reona (津田玲緒奈), is a Japanese idol under WACK, as a MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN member from December 2022 until its coalition into MONSTERIDOL in 2024, and its eventual return in 2025. She was previously a MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN TONAi BOUSHO a.k.a. MONSTERIDOL member, from their 2024 formation until their 2025 indefinite hiatus.
Prior to her joining WACK, she was a member of Baby dolls.

2017 (Baby dolls)
Early career, 2015-2018[]
On June 4th, 2015, Tsuda Reona was unveiled as a member of Tokushima local idol group, Baby dolls.
Reona's first and only single with Baby dolls, Pride/Sukiya-ken, was released on April 30th, 2018.
Graduation and Arson Incident, 2021-2022[]
Reona graduated from Baby dolls on March 14th, 2021. During the event, a fire broke out in the same multi-story building, with Baby dolls performing in the "Fly" bar on the fourth floor of the Acty Annex building in Tokushima. The fire broke out near the elevator hall on the third floor, and about 18 square meters of floors were burned. An employee of a restaurant on the second floor noticed an explosion and smoke coming from the upper floor and called the emergency services. Nobody at the show was injured, however, one bar employee was taken to hospital after inhaling smoke. A police investigation later found a gasoline can and a knife at the scene where the fire initially broke out.
Ten days later, Tokushima Central Police Station arrested a 38 year-old man on suspicion of arson. The man later admitted that he was attempting to replicate the Kyoto Animation arson attack that killed 36 people in July 2019, and had bought 14 litres of gasoline at a service station prior to the incident. The man had previously had a history of conflicts with management and harassing members on Twitter.
In early 2022, the man suspected of the incident occurring at Reona's graduation was sentenced to 11 years in prison on charges of arson, attempted murder, and trespassing. According to the prosecution's indictment, the man had been harassing Reona after discovering that she had a boyfriend, resulting in management banning him from their events. Because of this, he decided to commit the crime. The man admitted to all charges and the verdict was finalized in February.
Joining MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN, 2022[]
Reona was revealed as a competitor in MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN Nari no Gasshuku on December 8th, 2022 and participated from December 11th to 14th. She was able to last through the entirety of the camp, and on December 17th, it was announced that she would join MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN alongside Momoka.
2023[]
Reona's first live performance as a member of MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN was MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN no Re Re Re Start, taking place on January 6th, 2023. Just prior to this first performance, her first-ever recording with the group, MUST CHANGE -WE KEEP CHANGiNG-, was released as a digital single.
On her debut performance with the group, her stage name, Leonaempire, and member colour were revealed.
Leona's first and only album with MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN, MAMEQUEST, was released on February 22nd.
On August 5th, Leona joined the shuffle unit HOLY SHiTS and performed for the WACK presents DREAMLIGHTS in TIF event.
Leona's only single with MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN, Puripuri/Sing Along Time!, was released on October 4th.
On December 24th, it was announced that MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN would cease activities and merge with their sister unit, TONAi BOUSHO, to form MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN TONAi BOUSHO a.k.a. MONSTERIDOL.
2024[]
MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN TONAi BOUSHO a.k.a MONSTERIDOL's activities officially began on January 6th, exactly one year after Leonaempire's first performance. Her debut single with the group, Wonderland, will be released on April 3rd.
