Futatabi Ao

Futatabi Ao (ふたたびあお, 再日あお), also known as Ishimura Aoi, (石村碧) is a Japanese idol. She was a finalist in the WACK AUDiTiON CAMP 2017, as Terayama Yufu (テラヤマユフ), and a finalist in Miss iD 2018 as Aono (あおの).

Ao was a founding member of Kitokano from 2021 to 2022. She is currently a member of underground idol music unit, downerprism.

Biography[]

2017[]

From March 28th to April 2nd, Futatabi Ao participated in the WACK AUDiTiON CAMP 2017 under the name "Terayama Yufu". Despite lasting the entirety of the boot camp, it was announced during WACK EXHiBiTiON that she had not been chosen to debut. Afterward, she opened a twitter account, thanking fans for their support.

Soon after, she entered Miss iD under the name, "Aono", where she eventually made it into the top 10. During much of her Miss iD campaign, she used her experience in the WACK audition as a means of promotion, saying that she "has been possessed by the ghost of Terayama Yufu ever since".

2018-2020[]

After juggling school and Miss iD events througout 2017 and 2018, Aono suddenly went on hiatus on November 26th, stating that the internet had been negatively affecting her mental health. She returned to social media in January 2019 but left her twitter private for several months afterward.

On March 9th, 2020, Aono announced that she had signed with the agency GUIDANCE Inc. intending to be an actress, and would be performing as "Ishimura Aoi" from now on.

Ishimura's first starring role was published online on March 29th. It was a short film about the lives of different young women during the March 2020 coronavirus lockdown, titled "Mask wo Shita Onna no Ko-tachi".

2021[]

In late February, Ishimura Aoi was the subject of a photography exhibition by artist, Sato Kurenaimi. The exhibit took place at DESIGN FESTA GALLERY WEST from the 17th to 19th.

On February 21st, she was revealed as a founding member of the idol group, Kitto Dareka no Himitsu Heiki (later renamed to Kitokano) and changed her stage name again to Futatabi Ao. Her debut performance took place on February 28th.

2022[]

On March 27th, Kitto Dareka no Himitsu Heiki released four digital singles, the first recorded studio material that Futatabi Ao had ever featured on: Hyper Necromancer, Gozenreiji Sekai Seifuku, Uchuu Daisensou and Serious.

Kitto Dareka no Himitsu Heiki, since renamed to Kitokano, disbanded on November 7th. Just under a month later, Ao announced that she had formed a new unit, downerprism, with her ex-Kitokano groupmate, Aya Naru.

2023[]

While still established as disbanded, Kitokano would occasionally reunite for one-off performances through Spring 2023.

On October 13th, downerprism released their debut digital single, Mahou Shoujo Sengen.

Trivia[]

Loves instruments and is learning how to play bass, drums and saxophone.
For a period of time, her twitter username was "@314_1592653589", a reference to how she was saved from elimination during the WACK audition by memorizing the most pi digits.
Was in Miss iD the same year as Tsukino Usagi.
Her audition name was a parody of Terashima Yufu. She shares this name with Terashima Yuka, who was also one of her mentors during the WACK audition. NOW EMPiRE later used the same name.
Her favourite food is corned beef.
