EMPiRE'S GREAT REVENGE LiVE is a recording of EMPiRE's January 20th Zepp Tokyo live of the same name. It is the first EMPiRE live to receive a standalone home video release.
The GREAT REVENGE LiVE was a free event, and a repeat performance of their GREAT ESCAPE TOUR FiNAL, which MAYU EMPiRE could not be present for due to being sick with influenza. The original performance, with 5 members, is included on the limited edition alongside the GREAT REVENGE.
The concert was released in both a DVD edition, and a limited edition containing two blu-rays, a bonus CD, photobook and cassette tape. The limited-edition cassette tape contains two new tracks.
