chuuum is a Japanese idol group formed in 2023. Former second generation BiS member, Momoland, was a founding member of the group, under the name "Amo". The group disbanded on September 17th, 2024

History[]
Chuuum was initially announced in May 2023, produced by ex-Planckstars member, Uyu. In early June, the members of the group were revealed one at a time over the course of five days. The starting line-up consisted of Amo, Uta, Shuri, Kayapi and Himeno. However, on June 24th, Himeno suddenly left the group, before they even had their debut performance.
On June 25th, chuuum held a "preview live", though it would not be considered their official debut, which is slated for August 4th.
Chuuum's self-titled debut digital single was released on June 30th.
On August 4th, it was announced that following Chuuum's change to a new line-up, Kayapi would leave the group. Moreover, Amo would go on hiatus due to health issues.
