Cecil (千知), also known as Hanazono Cecil (花園千知), and real name Sakamoto Chinami (坂本千菜美), is a Japanese former idol.
While she is best known as a former member of THE HOOPERS, AXELL and ael, she was also a competitor in the WACK AUDiTiON CAMP 2022 under the name, Motilder Single (モチルダー・シングル).
Biography[]
Dreamboat, 2014-2020[]
In Fall of 2013, Cecil participated in an audition to form the younger sister group of crossdressing idol group, Fudanjuku. She was able to pass the audition and was unveiled as a founding member of the unit, AXELL, on May 2nd, 2014. Her debut single with the unit was released on March 18th, 2015.
On September 29th, 2015, it was announced that Cecil would join another crossdressing idol group, THE HOOPERS, concurrently with her position in AXELL. Her first single with THE HOOPERS, "Love Hunter", was released on May 11th the following year, and her first album, FANTASIA, followed on September 28th.
THE HOOPERS ultimately disbanded on January 25th, 2019. AXELL disbanded soon after, on February 3rd. Afterwards, Cecil joined ael, a new unit formed under the Dreamboat umbrella that was formed from THE HOOPERS and its sister units. Upon joining ael, she began performing as "Hanazono Cecil", rather than simply "Cecil" like in her previous units. Her first single as part of ael was released on July 24th that same year.
Cecil graduated from ael on February 11th, 2020, and retired from entertainment shortly after, though she would open a YouTube channel at the end of the year.
2022[]
On January 30th, Cecil announced the opening of her official fanclub. Around the same time, she auditioned for WACK, and was selected to participate in the annual boot camp.
From March 20th, Cecil participated in the WACK AUDiTiON CAMP 2022, under the name, "Motilder Single". However, she was eliminated on Day 4.
