BPM15Q are a Japanese idol group, originally formed in 2015. They were the predecessor group to CY8ER.
The name BPM15Q refers to both of the members, with 15 referencing Ichigo Rinahamu (1 = ichi, 5 = go), and Q referencing Nicamoq.
The original incarnation of BPM15Q ended when Nicamoq left at the end of 2016 and the unit was rebooted with new members as CY8ER. In 2022, it was announced that BPM15Q would resume activities with both original members.

Original Incarnation, 2015-2016[]
In June 2015, BPM15Q, a yume-kawaii themed electro idol unit, was founded by Ichigo Rinahamu and Nicamoq. They held their debut live on June 20th, at Sound Note Nagoya.
During the Fall of 2015, BPM15Q began releasing self-produced CD-Rs starting with BPM15Q! on October 23rd. Sometime in January 2016, BPM15Q collaborated with the alternative fashion brand, Galaxxxy, with their second CD-R, Hakuchuumu / HANNARI, being included with their collaborative merchandise.
BPM15Q's first and only "official" single, online 1st, was released on May 12th, 2016. On August 1st, their released their third CD-R, Kataomoi Wazurai. They released their final CD-R, Kokuhaku Warp, on September 9th.
On November 23rd, they released BPM15Q all songs, their only album.
BPM15Q effectively ended on December 15th, 2016, when one half of the unit, Nicamoq, announced her withdrawal from the group. Surviving member, Ichigo Rinahamu, announced her intention to continue the unit in another form, ultimately naming the reboot, CY8ER. All of BPM15Q's discography was adopted and gradually re-recorded by CY8ER, who continued until their disbandment in January 2021.
2021[]
On October 15th, 2021, it was announced that the original BPM15Q line-up would reform for the first time in five years, and hold an all-night festival at ageHa, titled, "Shinpakushuu15Q -Good Luck ageHa-" (心拍数15Q -Good Luck ageHa-) on November 20th.
2022[]
On January 5th, 2022, music producer TeddyLoid released a remix of BPM15Q's earlier song, Hakuchuumu.
While the October 15th live was initially a one-off reunion, on April 19th, 2022, BPM15Q announced that they would officially resume activities, and released their first new song in over five years, Kyo You Mu, the same day. The song was produced by TeddyLoid, who had remixed their song Hakuchuumu just three months prior. While the original incarnation of BPM15Q released their music on Ichigo Rinahamu's own ICIGOSTYLE label, the reboot was signed with Victor Entertainment, CY8ER's former label, and the label that had released the aforementioned Hakuchuumu remix.
On September 7th, BPM15Q's second major digital single, Pachim, was released. As with Kyou You Mu, it was produced by TeddyLoid.
2023[]

BPM15Q's fourth digital single, LaRiLaRu, was released on February 22nd.
